Associate Principal Investigator (API) Scheme

The SCOOTT Trial is registered with the NIHR Associate PI scheme. The scheme aims to develop junior doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, who may not necessarily have the opportunity to partake in clinical research, to become the PIs of the future. We are encouraging all sites to have APIs. Not only are there benefits to the API themselves, but several sites who have APIs in place on other ongoing trials are finding this resource valuable
